Recently Ars Technica published an article, October 16th, 2024, here involving a student who was punished by their school for using AI tools for an assignment. The reasons given by the school/defendants are hilarious considering the Delaware agencies, including Governor John Carney, that have been using tax payer money to purchase monthly subscriptions to OpenAI/ChatGPT for quite some time. It's bad enough Delaware uses tax payer to fund the Hyatt Regency Hotels but tax funded AI is little beyond the pale.

If Delaware's Governor uses and has been using ChatGPT then who's actually running currently running for office?
